Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger. I feel he is perfect as Freddy if he brings the same insane intensity to the character as he did in Watchmen. Your thoughts?

I think he will do FANTASTIC
I first saw him as a pedophile in Little Children (also with Patrick Wilson) and was very upset when I saw he was in Watchmen..but after I saw the movie..Wow. If anyone is to win anything for that movie it should be him. I will never doubt one of his roles again and will see Nightmare on Elm Street simply for the fact that he is in it.
hes a very good choice. just depends on how they choose to portray freddy. if they decide to make him wisecrack a lot then maybe jackie earle haley isnt funny enough to pull it off. odd but he seems really good at the nihilism but he wasnt as darkly funny as rorschach as in the graphic novel
