If you aren’t famous rich and beautiful then you have no chance at all.
So why bother? why do women do this?

I have no clue. The last time I lusted after some celebrity (more than see him on TV and say…”He’s a good looking guy”) was when I was in Middle School. I think this is an immature trait women, and men hold (think about all the men who have that special someone hanging in the garage, office, basement, etc).
As for Johnny Deep, he looks like the creepy guy next door who makes you want to deadbolt your door.
LOL. Where do I start to answer your question built on one stereotype on a top of another? Johnny Depp is not every woman’s fantasy. To me he is way bellow average in looks and let’s face it in intelligence ( I had a misfortune to listen to a couple of his interviews ). Many years ago ( around the time he was in the show called “21 Jump Street” ) he used to be marginally cute, but his time has passed, and it did not change him for the better. Sorry. He reminds me of a monkey in his many sequels of “Pirates of the Caribbean”. He also is too scruffy and dirty in his personal appearances to be appealing in any way. George Clooney is more to my taste. He is charming, polished in his looks and manners and does not take himself seriously, which makes him even more attractive to majority of females. So, here you have it: sleep well, we don’t like Johnny Depp after all. And I am quite beautiful and financially comfortable. Thank you very much. However, being famous is a fool’s dream, and I am no ones fool.

We know it’s not reality, why else would they call it “FANTASIZING???” You can’t tell me you, if you are indeed male, THAT YOU do not fantasize about other women, even famous ones. BY THE WAY, IF YOU’RE NOT RICH,FAMOUS, GOOD LOOKING AND HAVE A GOOD DISPOSITION/ATTITUDE, YOU HAVE NO CHANCE WITH JENNIFER LOPEZ, BEYONCE KNOWLES, JENNIFER GARNER OR ANGELINA JOLIE. EVER.
Duh, cuz it’s like waiting for the prince. Realistically we know it won’t happen, but it’s nice to think it can. And don’t say that because we aren’t rich or beautiful we have no chance. That’s pessimistic.
Plus Johnny Depp is hot.
People enjoy having fantasies. It doesn’t mean you think it’s going to become reality or even necessarily that you want it too. I can’t believe I have to explain to you the concept of a fantasy.

Because he’s a metrosexual and that drives women crazy. It’s like they’re able to get the good looking gay man now. I’ve noticed chicks always talking about how gay men are hot but knew that those men wouldn’t give them the time of day. Since Johnny Depp isn’t a homosexual and is a metrosexual, women feel that he’s the next best thing.
