When movies were released years ago, these materials would be put together in folders, usually along with photographic stills from the film, and sent to movie theaters, as well as distributors, to help promote the release of their movie. They would typically provide a synopsis of the film, along with behind-the-scenes information about the cast, crew, and making of the film. There was no internet then, so this was something studios could do to help get the word out. There is yellowing of the pages due to age, as well as shelf wear.
