Near perfect with only minor imperfections that keep it from next level. Overall appearance is it has been read once/twice. Cover is flat with no surface wear, Original staples, Corners are cut square and sharp. Spine is flat & tight. An excellent copy with outstanding eye appeal, bright & clean with supple pages. Has the appearance of been carefully handled, A limited accumulation of. Minor defects is allowed. Some minute wear to corners, no obvious soiling. Spine is almost flat with no roll, very minor stress lines. Above average copy, shows minor wear but relatively flat and clean. No significant creasing or other serious defects especially on spine and edges. Minor cover wear apparent with minor / moderate creases. Moderate rounding of corners. The average used comic book, significant moderate wear. Does not reduce eye appeal to the point that it is not a desirable copy. Cover shows moderate to significant wear and maybe loose. Can have accumulation of crease or dimples, corners maybe blunted or abraded. Some discolouration, fading, foxing and minor soiling is allowed, up to 1/4triangle. Can be missing out of the corner or edge. Moderate spine roll may be present and /or 1 spine split. Staples may be discoloured, minor – moderate staple tears and stress lines as. Well as some rust migration, paper is brown but not brittle. Shows substantial wear, often considered a reading copy. Cover shows significant wear and may be detached. Book length creases/dimples may be present, rounded corners. Moderate soiling/staining and discolouration and foxing may be present. Spine roll/stress and is likely to have up to a 2 spine split. Staples may be missing or degraded, as well as rust migration.
